Hello! I'm Beth—mum, travel addict, and your partner-in-crime when it comes to dreaming up unforgettable adventures.

My love for travel started way back when I was at university, balancing lectures and essays with a part-time job in travel. Between poring over textbooks and planning incredible journeys for clients, I caught the travel bug—and honestly, I’ve never looked back.

 

In my early twenties, armed with little more than a backpack and youthful optimism, I set out exploring everywhere from bustling Asian markets to quiet European villages, and it shaped the way I see the world today.

Fast forward a bit, and these days my adventures often include my son Jude, who had his first taste of travel at just six months old—his tiny toes dipped into the warm waters of the Maldives and gazing up at elephants in Sri Lanka. Since then, he’s grown up exploring the globe right alongside me, sharing experiences that we both cherish deeply.

My own travel highlights? There are plenty, but topping the list has to be the hidden beaches and dramatic cliffs of Nusa Penida, the laid-back charm and lush beauty of Bali, and those unforgettable sunsets in the Florida Keys. Honestly, give me a sandy beach, turquoise waters, and a bit of adventure, and I'm there faster than you can say 'passport!'

When I'm not travelling, you'll find me at home, usually planning the next escape or sharing tips and stories on my blog and Instagram. I run my own travel business, Beth Thomas - Travel Counsellors, where I turn travel dreams into reality. I absolutely love helping people uncover new experiences and destinations, whether it's a dreamy family getaway, a romantic escape, or a bucket-list adventure.
